What I Learnt From Jeff Bezos and Amazon

Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest person at the time of writing, which is the year 2019. Brad Stone’s account of Amazon titled The Everything Store was truly one of the most fascinating books I have ever read and I recommend it for anyone interested in business. I learnt that first and foremost, believe in yourself and your instincts. Secondly, learn from every failure.

Bezos knew that the dawning of the internet age represented uncountable opportunities and he wanted to seize them all. There were times when his employees left in droves because Amazon reeked of failure. Bezos never gave up and always came out smiling in the end as the company went from strength to strength. Every time he failed, he dusted himself off, learnt what he could, and went at it again.
